Pink Bunny News Gossip Tips Monday August 25, 2008

Happy Monday!

It was announced today that Dancing with the Stars will include Susan Lucci, Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, Cloris Leachman, Kim Kardashian, Ted McGinley, Brooke Burke, NFL star Warren Sapp and Olympians Misty May-Treanor, who just won the gold medal for beach volleyball at this year's summer games in Beijing, and Maurice Greene, who won two gold medals in track at the 2000 games in Sydney. Also, chef Rocco DiSpirito, Cody Linley, and comedian Jeffrey Ross.

Kim Kardashian cut her foot yesterday but says she will be able to dance. Excuses already Kim? The season hasn't even begun. I can't place any bets just yet, but the athletes are usually the ones to look out for. In spite of previous choreographed dance experience, I don't think anyone is looking for Lance Bass to go hard on the dance floor.

Da Brat (34) aka Shawntae Harris has been sentenced to 3 years for assaulting a hostess in an Atlanta nightclub last year. It was said that Da Brat took a half empty rum bottle and clocked the hostess in the head after an altercation where they bumped into each other. Brat plead guilty to aggravated assault on the hostess/Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader and expected a plea bargain, but was given 3 years behind bars, 7 years probation, and 200 hours of community service. We all saw how she had those champagne bottles ready to clock Chyna Doll's boyfriend Sean on Surreal Life. Bottles are obviously her weapon of choice.

In Los Angeles, a cop pulled over the vehicle of Sean "Diddy" Combs on Sunday morning. It was said that one member of Diddy's entourage became uncooperative and when other members of the entourage (including Diddy) advanced, the cop brandished his weapon out of fear for his safety. The situation was quickly diffused and no citation was given.

On Friday, it was reported that David and Victoria (Posh) Beckham had a serious car accident while en route to the airport in Nice. David was to appear in the passing of the Olympic Torch in Beijing at the closing ceremonies. It's said that he crashed the car into a wall. The passengers side was the point of impact and that is where Posh was seated! Although they were shaken, both were said to be just fine, and David went on to make his appearance at the closing ceremonies. Posh is still in the South of France. Posh's publicist denies there was a car accident. We will have more on this story.

Paula, Randy, and Simon are adding a fourth judge to American Idol in January when the eighth season begins. It was speculated that with ratings down, and Nigel Lythgoe out as executive producer, something had to be done! So they are bringing on Kara DioGuardi permanently. She has worked with Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake. I don't know how she will be at judging, but sounds good enough. I am just wondering what they will do in the event there is a tie.

Is it just me or is Sam Ronson looking more and more masculine. Lindsay's girlfriend has colored her hair darker, and gotten it cut shorter. She is also rocking boy's clothing. Maybe she was just playing the part since the couple were out last night in NYC having dinner with Lindsay's mom, Dina Lohan.

It was rumored that Madonna got a little political in her first weekend of the "Sticky & Sweet" tour. She was said to have images of Presidential Candidate John McCain alongside Hitler and pictures of Barack Obama alongside the likes of Gandi as she performed her song "Get Stupid". Way to get controversial Madge! That girl is always thinking! Take a look...

It was also rumored that popular R&B singing group from back in the day Jodeci was performing a reunion show when member Jo Jo just fell out on the ground. Fellow member on stage, K-Ci just keeps performing. They leave the guy laying on the ground. My goodness! This is worse than the 5 Heartbeats. If you don't believe me, take a look at the video!

That's all for now, we will have all tips tomorrow!

Pink Bunny News Gossip Tips August 15, 2008

Happy Friday! This is my favorite day of the week. Welcome to the Reality Show Wrap-Up!

Today we are going to give you the scoop on your favorite reality shows and personalities. We are also going to give you the heads up on some new reality shows that are coming up this fall.

Bravo has so many reality shows. I like most of them, but I must admit that curiosity gets me to watch many of them and the turmoil and chaos is what keeps me tuning in. This week on "Project Runway", the contestants were asked to make a day to evening look for Brooke Shields' character on the fabulous "Lipstick Jungle". The designers were really stressed to their limits at such a huge opportunity, especially being teamed up with partners. I am always so impressed with the sketches that these people are able to come up with. They are absolutely brilliant. Ultimately, Kelli was eliminated and Keith & Kenley won the challenge. But my favorite look was from Jerell & Stella. I'd rock his outfit all day and all night. You decide. Take a look...

I am also fascinated with celebrity homes, so the show Million Dollar Listing always has my attention. This season they have these three young guys who are making a killing by selling high end real estate to celebrities and rich people in California. Madison, Chad, and Josh are all twenty-something young men who are living a lavish lifestyle thanks to closing some very big deals. Chad (the one with the mushroom hair), repeatedly tells us how his boss is Paris Hilton's father (see left). Madison seems like the nicest bi-sexual realtor you will ever meet while Josh got pissed with his aging but filthy rich grandmother who told him that she wasn't leaving him any type of inheritance, that it was all going to charity. He stormed off like he was the poorest little rich boy in the world and went off to do more vodka shots with his client. They make it look so easy.

Bravo also has a spin-off of the "Real Housewives of Orange County" with Jo De La Rosa. "Date My Ex: Jo & Slade" is a different kind of show. As a fan of the RHOOC, I watched Jo & Slade's very tumultuous relationship unravel. It was volatile, and seemed like Slade was very possessive and controlling with Jo. I was glad to see her strike out on her own, which is why this show surprised the hell out of me. Even at home sitting in my living room, I can feel the awkwardness that ensues when Slade interacts with these guys. He is still very possessive of Jo and even acts like he doesn't want her to like any of them. He doesn't give them a hard time, but he does play the savior and protector by threatening the guys on a regular basis. Jo seems oblivious to it all and smiles and laughs as she embarks on these dates with new suitors every week. My question is why does Slade have to stay in the house with the guys? Why can't they be in a hotel or something, and all of this competition is only to get a second date with Jo? This is all made more awkward with Jo's two sexy girlfriends who are always lurking around the handsome studs, even sparking rumors that one of them had a crush on Jo's friend Myia who also hosts the show. I don't see anything real coming out of this show, but watching Slade sweat is worth tuning in for.

Ok, so I have to go over to the other network that has the best reality shows: VH-1. Tiffany Pollard's show "New York Goes to Hollywood" is quite entertaining. It must be since it beat out Diddy's new show in the ratings. But her show is entertaining for all the wrong reasons. It is almost like she is being mocked. We all know this woman is not a real actress. She is a personality. The way she embarks on these auditions and interacts with people is hilarious. She is uncouth and tacky and makes no apologies for her behavior. At one point she had on a backless shirt with her bra cutting straight across her back like she had no idea the back was missing. She has an overbearing assistant who would serve better as her manager, and no other real gumption. If you pay attention, it is almost as if the producers are setting her up to be in these weird situations where she is sure to lose her "cool". She delivers and gives us plenty to laugh at. And trust me, you will be laughing at her, not with her.

Speaking of Diddy's show "I Want To Work For Diddy" is equally entertaining. And for the wrong reasons also. I like how he isn't really a part of the show, he is like an enigma. They just go to clips of him spouting off euphemisms like the one on "bitchassness"...The most controversial character who is vying for the spot of Diddy's assistant is known as "Poprah". She is a loud talking, buck passing, big-boned, weave wearing stereotype. This week she caught an asthma attack so as not to have to compete in the physical challenge which had both teams out in the woods trying to find their way out. Of course her team lost and put her on the chopping block where again she talked her way out of being sent home. The people who are serving as judges have the personality of a shoebox, so this show is heavily relying on the character of the contestants to make it interesting. So I guess "Poprah" and the tranny will be sticking around for a while. They are the only ones that makes me want to watch.

I was able to catch the premiere of CMT's new reality show "Outsiders Inn" with Bobby Brown, Maureen McCormick, and Carnie Wilson. Those three were on the previous season of "Gone Country" which I heard was hilarious. The pretense is that Maureen is running a bed & breakfast and asks for Bobby and Carnie's help. Those three along with the local yocals is an extremely funny combination. Bobby was sweating the whole time, Maureen kept screaming, and Carnie kept passing gas. Madness. I also plan to tune in to "Gone Country 2". It looks pretty interesting. Jermaine Jackson, Irene Cara, Sebastian Bach, and Lorenzo Lamas are all starring this season. I can not imagine any of them as country western performers, so it should be interesting. I have my DVR set because these shows look like they are sure to give good tv! Stay tuned...

Ok, in closing, there are a few more that are worth mentioning for you to check out. Luther Campbell has a show where he is doing his best Bill Cosby imitation called "Luke's Parental Advisory". It's good for a laugh or two. Also there is "I Love Money" which stars the castoffs of the "I Love New York", "Flavor Of Love", and "Rock of Love". They are all competing for a boatload of cash-$250,000. This week's elimination was interesting when one contestant did not take the news very well. (See the video below) Also, Pam Anderson's show "Pam! Girl on the Loose" is not as entertaining as I had hoped, but it's good for a few laughs also. I also try to keep up with the airheads on "Sunset Tan", but it is really starting to get boring. The show that surprised me the most with it's entertainment level is "G's to Gents" with Farnsworth Bentley. It is like a male version of "Charm School". I was laughing so hard, I almost passed out.

Reality Show Tip of the Day

watch out for these shows this fall:

The Real Housewives of Atlanta
The Cho Show
Rock of Love Bus
A Shot at Love (No Tela Tequila)
Making the Band

Ok, so we will do the Reality Wrap-up again next week. For now, enjoy your weekend!
