Pink Bunny News Gossip Tips August 12, 2008

It's Tuesday! Hope you are having a good day!

Here is what people are talking about:

The Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky must be breathing sigh of relief after her father, Carl Blonsky (53) was released from jail in the Turks and Caicos. His bond was only $3,000 and was finally granted for health reasons. He is said to be on his way back to New York but is due back in court on August 19. He has been in jail since the brawl on July 29. I hope he has had enough time to think about what he has done. We teach small children to know better than that. He should have known how to ignore any words he didn't like and walk away. Not only has he damaged his own reputation, but that of his daughter as well. Nikki is due back in court in December.

It is also speculated that Angelina Jolie is taking over the lead role in an action film for Tom Cruise. Tom has backed out of the film, and the film is being re-written for a woman. Originally entitled Edwin A. Salt, the title will also be changing. Angelina is a new mother of twins and is also scheduled to star in "Atlas Shrugged" this year also. Now she just has to prioritize. I am sure she will do a great job in both. I just saw her in the award winning "Girl Interrupted". She was phenomenal. I think that with all of the hype, people really forget how great of an actress she is. She has great range and versatility. You go Angelina!

In very strange news, actor Shelley Malil (43) was arrested in Los Angeles. Malil was in the movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin". He is suspected of stabbing his ex girlfriend over 20 times at her home while her children watched. He is facing charges of burglary and attempted murder. He then fled the scene and took a train to speak with his attorneys. He was arrested when he got off the train. His family and friends had been urging him to turn himself in. Wow! What a nightmare. The ex girlfriend was listed in serious condition.

In updates, Hayden Panetierre's father was released on bond after a drunken argument where it is rumored that he ended up slugging his wife for mouthing off. Also Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick did not violate the terms of his bond yesterday by being at his mother's home while his sister was there. It was an issue because his sister is a witness for one of his trials. The judge said she was more concerned with that aspect of the terms regarding witnesses that do not want any contact with the mayor. That sounds fair, but he'd better watch it. They are on his every move and waiting for him to do something else. His wife Carlita was actually at the hearing this morning.
Tip of the Day:
If you hate ironing, after doing the laundry, hang clothes immediately. Most clothes come out of the dryer wrinkle free. So keep them that way by hanging them fresh out of the dryer. You will save lots of time.

Ok, that's all for now. Get out there and enjoy the dog days of summer...
