Happy Hump Day Everyone! May the countdown to the weekend begin!

Here is what people are talking about:

Lisa Marie Presley is expecting twins. I think I would have announced that as soon as the press began showing "fat" pictures of me. She is entitled to her privacy, but she should know the thin game better than most. She has been in it long enough, and her father, Elvis was even ridiculed when he put on a few pounds. Congratulations to her! I keep thinking that I am getting too old to have anymore children, but Lisa Marie may be proving me wrong. She made sure that she clarified that she was not impregnated via in vitro. I don't think it was such a big deal that Angelina & Brad used the procedure, and I don't think they ever had to disclose that. Sometimes, things need to be left to the imagination. If Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony did also, that would be their business. And it doesn't lessen the magnificence of it all. The bottom line is that people who want to take care of the children and can afford to take care of the children, are the people that we want to see having children right? More power to them I say. Those kids are living better than most of us ever will. It does make one want to offer themselves up for Angie & Brad to adopt:-)

Follow Ups:

As a follow up to the Morgan Freeman story, he is reportedly up and about. He was required to undergo surgery to nerves in his left arm. Also the woman he was with was said to be a friend of the family. And his wife was out of town. They are going through a divorce. This type of story is getting a bit old. It's so old it's no longer cliche. I wish him a speedy recovery, but I am slightly disappointed. He just seemed so dignified that it is hard for me to remember that he has weaknesses just like anyone else. We may never know the real deal, but hell we know enough for it to be interesting.
Also, looks like Mary-Kate Olsen will be subpoenaed to co operate in the federal investigation surrounding actor Heath Ledger's death. Earlier this week she gave a statement that she "had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them." That's her story, and it sounds like she is sticking to it.

Paris Hilton has a video answer to John McCain's implication that she wasn't ready to lead. I thought it was very cute but a little childish. To constantly refer to him as old and herself as just being hot was adorable, but not as insulting as he was to her. I like how she didn't take the low road, but she probably would have done better not saying anything outside of her statement. I think her mother was even a contributor to the McCain campaign, so she couldn't really go after him guns blazing. I think the best way to show how she feels would be to willingly endorse his competition. Maybe my hopes are too high, this is Paris we're talking about. We can't go too deep with it. But way to step into politics P!
Ok, I'm going back out to see what's going on. More to come...

Pink Bunny News Gossip Tips August 5, 2008

Hello there! Hope your Tuesday is going just peachy! Here is what people are talking about:
Good news! In New York, Kelsey Grammer has been released from the hospital. The star of Swing Vote was admitted after feeling faint. He has had some heart problems, and was taking every precaution. He is now ready to resume regular activity. He lives on Hawaii's Big Island with his wife Camille. Get well soon Kelsey, we love you!

In the latest reports from the California Department of Health, the number of UCLA Medical Center employees who illegally viewed celebrity records has doubled from what was initially stated. The employees viewed celebrity records of Farrah Fawcett, Britney Spears, and Maria Shriver. I would be so pissed off if I were them! And to top it off, one woman continued to peek even after she knew the investigation had begun. They say that the investigation has lead to firings, warnings, and suspensions, but is that really enough? There should be some sort of jail time for violating some one's privacy that way. I think that is just as low as peeking into the stall at someone.

Thanks to the magic of DVR, I can watch reality tv whenever I want. I have to take my hat off to BRAVO for finally representing the lifestyles of affluent African Americans in the Real Housewives of Atlanta. I am interested in seeing more of it, and it looks like it will have just as much drama as its predecessors in Orange County, and New York City. I also got a chance to look at the show about the people competing to be Diddy's assistant on his show "I Want to be Diddy's Assistant". It reminded me of "The Apprentice" with Donald Trump, except this wasn't for a power position within a corporation. This was more for the position to cater to a primadona's every whim. At the same time, I have to commend everyone on the show for going after it, and having the patience and drive to see past the superficial demands in order to get to a great career beyond Bad Boy. They have some strong personalities competing so it should be interesting. I also had a chance to check out Tiffany "New York" Pollard's new show: "New York Goes To Hollywood". I must admit that she is a mess. It is like watching a train wreck. She isn't half as interesting (if you could call it that) as she was before. She had colorful character in the other shows that she was on. But now that the spotlight is on only her, she seems insecure and out of place. I am still rooting for her though...as a footnote to the reality chat, does anyone watch "I Love Money" on Vh-1? It's the cast offs of the Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Rock of Love series. They are supposed to be competing for this huge jackpot but they are doing more hookups than competing! I seriously believe that these people have not watched the shows that their new lovers were on. But then again, maybe they have.

Ok, so that's all for now, enjoy your Tuesday, and make it count!

Breaking News!

Actor Morgan Freeman is in serious condition after he was injured in a car accident Sunday evening in Ruleville, Miss. Freeman and an unidentified woman were on Highway 32 when his 1997 Nissan Maxima went off the road and rolled over. He is such a nice man, I truly hope that this doesn't turn into a scandal for him. Isn't it bad enough that the award winning actor was in a Nissan Maxima! Anyhow, we wish Morgan a swift recovery.

Almost just as awkward is how Shia LaBeouf was in an accident with one of his Transformers 2 costars, Isabel Lucas (23), but I did not realize she is the on again/off again girlfriend of one of my favorite stars, Adrian Grenier of Entourage (32). Apparently Adrian was with another model that night, Melissa Keller, but when he heard about Isabel, he came running back. Although she was not injured, they were spotted together after the accident. Will they stat together this time, or go back to dating other people? Gotta love how a crisis can bring people together.

Apparently Mary-Kate Olsen wants immunity from prosecution before she will cooperate with federal officials in the investigation of the death of actor Heath Ledger. The only person left to interview is Olsen, and they are hoping that she will come around and answer questions without the need for a subpoena. Oxycodone and Vicodin are the only unprescribed drugs that were found in Ledger's system. His work on The Dark Knight has brought many posthumous accolades to the 28 year old single father. Hopefully this can be over soon, and his family can get the answers they deserve. Come on Mary-Kate...let's not drag this out any longer than necessary. Let these people have their closure.

That's all I've got for now. Happy Monday! We are just that much closer to the weekend!
